It Feels like Cliff Diving
This a thrilling time for us and the only way I can describe it is to equate it to cliff diving. There is the time of planning and thinking about it. You look at the water - it's a long way down . . .
You think about it, you weigh the pros and cons. And you decide to jump. Then you squash your fear, and you run toward the edge.
Even though God has been calling both of us to missions for a long time, we have now jumped. We are homeless and jobless, and going to our candidate orientation.
In a few days we will stand before a board and give our testimony about how God called us. Then, if all goes well we join a group of 1,200 missionaries all over the world who are pround to say they serve the Lord by serving with a group called SIM.
