With Love from Pennsylvania

On Valentine's Day we arrived back in Nashville from Lebanon, PA. Armed with an ESL teaching certificate from YWAM's Institute of the Nations (YWAM is Youth With A Mission),
Chris is now well-equipped to teach English Classes in Sudan. We've learned a lot about endurance and being in different places.

Our new friends at the YWAM base were from: Korea, Australia, Iceland, Poland, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Minnesota, Florida, and even New Jersey!

The highlight was our time with some new friends from Church of the Servant (PCA) in Palmyra, PA. We had a great time worshipping with them and were even invited to and Elder's home for a meal later in the week. Incredibly, it felt like we were among family. The warmth and cameraderie in the body of Christ is amazing.

Another highlight of was getting to see the Amish and Mennonite communities near Lancaster, PA. We learned a lot about their religion and culture. It prompted a great deal of debate among the students about how much we should celebrate from the world as Christians.

Back in Nashviiie, we are full into Maximum Fund-raising mode in anticipation of being able to leave for Sudan in May. Please pray for us as we look for our support team. Current pledge levels are: 37% of one-time need and 30% of monthly need.

Also, we praise God our Provider who has provided us with a place to live and a supporter who will pay our rent until we leave. Once again, God shows up to meet us when we need Him.
