Nairobi Bulletin

Hello Dear Friends,

We pray that you are well and secure in Jesus's love. Thanks for all your emails and encouragements.

The Crowders are doing well and are now rested and encouraged by being back in Narobi for SIM-Sudan Council meeting. We're a little skinnier and recovering from some illnesses but in general are very well. Thanks to your prayers, we are surviving and even flourishing. Time will tell what God will do through our presence, but we are encouraged by the friendships we are developing and by how quickly we are picking up the language.

We are amazed that you like to read our emails about stuck tractors and lizards in the hut and stuff like that! With your encouragement, we'll keep writing!

We just finished two days of SIM-Sudan council meetings that were very encouraging. We all approved plans to go forward with schools, teacher training centers, and a primary health care center. These ambitious plans will focus on Upper Nile and Southern Blue Nile states in Sudan, some of the most neglected and damaged areas. SIM plans to rebuild and revive ministry locations abandoned since the missionaries were expelled in 1963. For instance, there is not a single secondary school operating in an area 800 km across.

Exciting news - we will visit our homes in Tennessee Dec 9 to Dec 19th and hope to see many of you at West End Community Church during that time.

Your prayers sustain us, and your love encourages us,

Chris and Beverly Crowder
