Back in Kurmuk

Hello All,

We made it back to Kurmuk and are settling in for the next 8 weeks. So far the hottest season has not arrived – lows in the mid 80’s with highs around 102F.

We had a great R&R in Kenya – it seemed longer than 2 weeks because we were able to go to the coast of Kenya for a short vacation. We had good reunions with all our SIM colleagues, including about 7 new missionaries from Nigeria and Ethiopia. Best of all, we moved into our room in the SIM Sudan guesthouse. We have a nice room with an attached bathroom (and a bathtub for Bev!) and nice big wardrobe closets to lock our stuff up in. It made our packing so much easier. The apartment in Nairobi is a blessed refuge with a refrigerator all our own and lots of SIM friends as neighbors!

Coming up on the radar is: teaching in the hospital for both of us, a 2-day leadership conference for young men, and a marriage conference in May with guest speakers from the US.

Your friends in Sudan,

Chris and Beverly Crowder
